Our company “Tipici sapori Dauni” was created
in 1988 after the over ten-years experience of its owner,
Signor Angelo Parente, in the processing of agricultural
products, offered by our bountiful land.
He, motivated by a profound passion for his own land and for
the good things prepared “as in the old days”,
decided to create a company that would faithfully represent
our culinary tradition with its agricultural origins. He then
re-discovered the old recipes, granny’s secrets, to
prepare the finest oil-preserved products, from classics to
grilled, the succulent sauces ready-to-eat and the delicious
pate’.
The company is situated in San Severo in the heart of Tavoliere
delle Puglie, a fertile and bountiful land already known to
the Romans, at the foot of the Daunia’s Pennines where
the extra virgin olive oil (D.O.P.) is produced.
Our production cycle begins with the careful selection of
the raw materials, originating from local markets, that are
rapidly introduced in the production cycle. In such a way
the texture, the colours and the aromas of the freshly picked
vegetables are preserved.
The company’s organ gram is formed by a highly specialized
staff. The company is directed by the owner, Mr Angelo Parente,
born in 1947, over 30 years experience in the food process
field.
The commercial and export manager is Mr Francesco Parente,
graduated in Economics and holding various food processing
diplomas.
The processing staff is composed of people instructed on the
correct food production.
The process and packaging manager is Mr. Michele Parente and
he is also the HACCP supervisor
The company operates with HACCP standard.
